I know there is a tyre size difference but does anyone know if the seats are interchangeable?

Hi Imoo,

The 2008 Seat will not fit properly as the 2009 Model has a wider frame where the seat is positioned.

Given that our Aussie dealers now have a range of "demo seats" onsite now I will call in and see how bad the actual fit is - at least I will be able to try on a couple of softail seats.

Trouble is the range of seats available of the 09 is poor - may get better if Harley release a better range of seats for the Breakouts.

Have a look at Danny Grey seats. He makes a solo or double seat to suit your bike.
There is a thread on this forum in regards to the Solo seat.

I have had a look at the Danny Grays and the Short Hop 2-up XL is ok but wanted to see what it looked like on the bike 1st before I buy. MCA in Sydney sell Danny Grays but only have a limited stock. Will keep looking.
