Hey Brian, if you DO go with this project and fit a Delphi Injection system, you're probably going to need to interface your older style tank to your newer syle TB

I was going to do this a couple of years ago but, in the end, events moved on and I didn't.

Anyway - I have (from Zippers) an external fuel pressure regulator thingie which gives you the 2 fuel connections into the '01 tank (supply and return) and the single (pressurised) feed to the injectors on the TB

It all bolts up behind the horn onto the top engine steady

Let me know if you're interested

Less hassle than changing the tank (and pump etc)

Cheers

Dave

Ah, you guys are catchin on, postin pictures for me to see. That's what I like. I can figure out most anything from a picture. I pretty much work on bikes from the exploded diagrams in the parts manual and only refer to the shop manual when I need torque numbers etc. Anyway, appreciate the posts, keep em coming  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

One thing I have not yet figured out is mounting the coil. The M&M coil mounts right on the frame. The Delphi coil mounts on bracket that hangs around the two welded tabs that hold the front of the gas tank on. On a Delphi bike, the bracket locks onto place by way of a hexagon around the tabs. An M&M bike does not have these hexagons (at least mind didn't) on the tabs. So while my coil mounted to the bracket, and the bracket fit around the tabs, the whole thing moved around until I used zipties to pull everything tight.
