Someone should start a pool on who will be the last man standing.

Just checked and original poster to this thread was Gary.  Gary, how about making a poll (in lieu of a pool, so a pool poll, or maybe a poll pool?) to get guesses on last of the significant men standing?

back to the Bullit chase scene.  Was there only enough money to have only a green beatle being past several times?

I believe the unwritten code which Jax spoke of at the meeting of the Presidents is that the president accused and found guilty of murdering a member can choose the way he wants to go out...i.e. Jax will end it his way, under his terms. Not so sure it will be something as meaningless as headlong into a semi like dad, although maybe it would fit since Moms last ride was in a semi. However it goes down, I am pretty sure Jax will end it on his harley...correction...on his Dads harley.

Jaxs bright white Nikes are blood stained...with Moms blood...rightfully so. Wonder what footwear he wears at the end...probably the same blood stained shoes.

I agree...too much Charlie ass.

I do have one question...whats up with Jaxs suddenly developed limp??? ...I believe it was his right leg...the rear break or his inability to apply it may come into play...nah, thats too simple.

Oh, who the hell knows...

Going to bed...goodnight all...

I think Kurt Sutter is an amazing writer. Really got a kick out of last night's show.  Stuart  :o

12 - Another tv ode to Sam Peckinpaw - mindless violence but done in a way that is very entertaining.  The Juice stabbing was a basic prison kill scene done by rote.  Only things missing were the guards rushing in like Keystone cops at the end & a warden shaking his head in confusion.

The scene where Wayne is just lying on the floor croaked while Gemma looks at old pics struck me as sort of funny.  Poor SOB got as little respect dead as he did alive.  Appropriate.  The garden scene was - to me - some of the dumbest crap have ever seen on tv.  Ok, sweetie, time to shoot your mommy. Geeze louise.  No wonder Huffman was bawling after listening to that wackadoo nonsense.

Bloody white shoes theme - continuity there.  No matter his career, Charlie has shoe commercial offers for the rest of his life.  Maybe dress him up like Al Bundy....

Wendy is probably pregnant.  Probably a girl.  All sorts of possibilities there.  Sutter could take that several ways for a future series.

Show became a caricature for me a while back but the "train wreck" deal kept me watching.  Very tough to go beyond the 5 season mark for any series plot line, even semi-Hamlet on 2 wheels & guns with some side boob occasionally.  Expect last episode to be grandiose, with some unanswered stuff.  Has been better than a lot of shows, & a fun watch.  Time to wrap it up.

Not sure about that as Jax asked for an exception to the unwritten code and they gave it to him.  I was wondering if perhaps the unwritten rule was to pull the charter of the offending chapter and that is the exception Jax asked for.   :nixweiss:

In any case I agree that Jax is going out and he knows it.  Did you notice how he asked Nero to 'take care of my boys'?  Like you I think he will visit Mr. Mayhem on himself and as stated there are many possibilities.

IMO killing Gemma was not something he wanted in his heart but his head knew that she would continue to rain evil and destruction down on the boys so he had no choice but to off her.

Dang I'm starting to sound like a promo writer for a soap opera!  Oh well, it is highly entertaining and in spite of their lack of impromptu coherent thought and speech the actors can act and ole Kurt can write some entertaining chit for sure.

I believe the unwritten code

I thought of something else entirely when that line of script was read.  Juice was killed at roughly the same time in the show and the Teller character had earlier said their "unwritten law" (or something like that) about not allowing blacks in the club needed to change.  Think I remember the character saying it was something he was going to do.  That's what popped in to my head.  But, yeah, who knows.  It'll be something teased or fully dropped in the last episode.
