.Maybe those were his Dad's boots. I still have my Dad's miners hat which he used when he worked as a gold miner in Northern Manitoba prior to joining the Navy in WW2. I still wear it when it rains. CAHDBIKER

Wasn't the first time he's gotten his tennis shoes "bloody" but in the past he's always had a fresh/clean pair to put on. :nixweiss:

In the prior episode Jax had developed a limp, the cause of which never developed.

As for the boots, they were old and worn looking.  I like the idea they were JT's.

As for the limp, in the afterword, Charlie alluded to the limp in his conversation with Kurt.  Something to the fact not lknowing how to ride or mistakes when riding recently.  I'm guessing it was a filming accident....may be why they used two different knuckeheads as he couldn't ride the suicide shift?

Thought that too. But, most bad wrecks we go to the clothes get cut off.

Read the back story on J.T. He was killed by a head on into a semi also, guess I should have known that but did not. Said he lived for 2 days after the crash & that one of his sons had died already. Have been in one very bad bike wreck, worked next to a busy interstate exit for a few years & saw more than a few bad ones.  Boots, shoes are usually in bad shape afterward & have seen clothes/boots cut off as you say.  After the wreck I was in, nothing was wearable after the ER was through with it.

Maybe there was another one, but the final scene was the only one I recall that Jax was not wearing his helmet when riding.  Wonder if Sutter will sequel this with that 2 day survival scenario?

Anybody who wears white footwear on any Harley will have some non white footwear in a hurry.  Maybe the Sons had a white shoe running biz as well?

Maybe the sons were more about drugs, guns and prostitution instead of about riding. I don't recall many trips to Sturgis, Daytona and Loconia...or even Maggie Valley for that matter shown in the last seven years.

Jax had a "morals clause" in his shoe deal.

Ok, I am done no more comments from me. Not even if JT or Jax is resurrected in "Better call Saul" not another peep!

White shoes came from one of the guys he "studied" for the roll in a real MC.  Guy always wore white shoes - he is dead now, but that's where it came from.

True... But Jax's Dad (JT) died years ago... may not have been protocol back then... and knowing the mentality of the MC they may have picked up the body themselves. :nixweiss:

I dunno - saw bikers wearing 3 piece SOA patches at Daytona, pics of same at Sturgis, & no idea about Maggie Valley.

Was about as realistic as the Wild Hogs movie.  Sons  for me was escapist entertainment, with melodrama & a soundtrack.  The town named Charming wasn't, with stereotypical racially divided gangs, ineffective cops portrayed slightly better than Buford Pusser, and Harleys that oddly never broke down.  Pure fantasy done impurely.

Alas poor Opie I knew him well.....

Is there a "Sons of Anarchy" music compilation available? If not, there needs to be!
