Wrench sizes needed
« on: September 18, 2014, 07:39:38 AM »

Purchased my Second 2004 SE Deuce!  Will be picking the bike up this weekend.  Hydralic clutch needs attention before I ride the 130 miles home and dealer can't seem to figure out how to properly bleed the hydraulic clutch system, so I'll do it myself in the parking lot, before I leave.  What I need is the wrench sizes for the Handle Bar master cylinder Banjo bolt and the size of the bleeder valve at the transmission so I can make sure I take the correct wrench sizes with me.

Thanks for the help!

Side cover fitting is 1/4" six point - I prefer a 1/4" drive 1/4" six point socket.  Master cylinder banjo bolt is 3/8" twelve point.   :2vrolijk_21:

You will want to fill the master cylinder with the bike upright and the handle bars turned all the way to the right.  Fill to the "full" mark inside the master cylinder.

Thank You for the info!

One thing I forgot to ask, what is the torque spec for the banjo fitting at the master cyclinder? And will it reseal once lossend?
