Could someone who has converted their tour pak to a detachable please post a few pics of the stock rigid rack. I was looking at the parts fiche on Ronnie's and see that it is completely different than the regular rigid mount racks on other models. It is listed as black and has two chrome pieces that mount to the side. Funny thing is the rack with the two chrome pieces is cheaper than the regular rack. Wanted to go rigid mount for my RG and I may pick up the CVO one instead.

Also I glanced at the mount yesterday on a CVO RG Ultra and it looks like the license plate bracket may be removable. Instead of being one piece of stamped metal like the regular mount.

The license plate bracket is not removable. It is a solid piece that makes up the entire support. Not sure what it is made of but it is not metal. It has chrome rails that attach to the outside of it that make it look nice.
