Thanks for the in-depth guide and bringing up an old topic, but I have to ask what type plug you used for the heated gear plugin on the wind vent? Currently mine is just flapping in the wind between the tank and seat and I hate it as it rubs the clear coat, just like the seat does.

I used the Gerbing heated gear panel mount plug.
