Christmas Gifts
« on: December 25, 2006, 12:27:07 PM »

While Terry is in the garage installing chrome, thought I'd post a couple of pix of some of his Christmas gifts.  I'll let him post more in detail in the "What Did You Get For Christmas" thread later.   [smiley=oops.gif]  He's sitting on one of his gifts (a shop stool) and I'll take a picture of it later and post.

another gift to Terry ... I wanted to get him the shop stool with the motorcycle seat, but he preferred the one with the larger wheels ... function before form.   ;D

Terry, we got to come up with a list of mods for your new scooter chair. Hummmmmmmmmmm, I got one, let's replace the seat with a Corbin Classic Solo w/ studs and chrome seat bar. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] ;D

Let's not forget to change those wheels to chrome, add brembo brakes, legend shocks, and for sure it's got to have a GPS. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Then after he gets used to it we can upgrade the motor. ;D

Good idea!   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]   I really wanted to give him the cool looking one with the motorcycle seat, but as I mentioned before, he chose the one with the big wheels for functionality.   [smiley=nixweiss.gif]    I guess it's a guy thing ... I buy high heel boots that look good...hurt my feet, but they look good!  Right brain, left brain  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Dave, you figured it out ... it's not really a "shop stool" ... it is a bar stool especially made for working on his bike, lower to the ground in case he falls off while drinking his brewskies.   [smiley=drink.gif]   ;D

Why do you think I wanted a backrest on the seat, the tray underneath, and 5 big wheels?  Won't fall backwards, can line full and empty bottles up in the tray, and I can move from smooth indoor concrete to outside, cracked driveway concrete without spilling anything, or tumping over... [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=drink.gif]  Might need a seatbelt for that thing though.... ;D

TC, if you put a drain plug in the base tray you could fill it with ice. ;)
