2011 FLTRUSE suspension height question.

Finally ready to make the move to a CVO bike. I've decided with my low back pain the Ultra would be my best choice. Am I correct in assuming there is more suspension travel on the 11' Ultra version than on say an 09' SERG?

Yes. The 2009 SERG and the Road Glide Customs have 12" rear shocks while the '11 Ultra has 13" shocks.  The ride height difference is 9/16" due to the angle of the shocks, however.  The Ultras also have plusher and thicker (higher) seats.

Definately!  And the tires are different.  I have both!  The 09 SERG is a Ferrari.  Very quick, nimble and you feel every bump in the road.  The Ole Lady hates it.  The 11 FLTRUSE is a much smoother ride.  I put HD Premium hand adjustable shocks on both which helped the SERG but made the Ultra even better.
