Looks great, never thought I'd see you pulling a trailer though.  Congrats

Thanks a bunch guys.

Roger I've owned two Bushtecs in the past.....one since I've known you.  Photos are on this forum someplace, it's the one that I sold to SanJose Duke.  The first Bushtec I had for a number of years prior to meeting you.  It's the one that's with my 89 Ultra Classic (black and silver) and I had it painted to match.  It's the one that's in a couple of the Harley Davidson books that I'm in and that set up brought home a number of trophys.  So.......not my first rodeo with Bushtecs.  ;)

I am curious why you thought you'd never see me pulling a trailer?  Kind of reminds me years ago when I got my first bagger....went from a stripped down 86 Heritage with bars to the stars, S&S sidewinder built motor to that 89 Ultra Classic.  None of my road dogs could believe it....thought I lost my mind getting an old man's motorcycle.  Of course now they're all on baggers.  :huepfenlol2:

JC, I'm getting old and forgetting stuff. I still have a mental pic of splitting traffic on double yellows in the twisties with you.
Yea, I remember the days when it wasn't cool to have windshields or electric starters, only for the week we'd say.
Great looking combo you'll have now with the trailer.

Curious JC.  Are you feeling a little, or a lot, better (hope so) and think the body is up to riding again?  Or just had the itch and figured you'd ride some on the days it felt good?  Whichever enjoy the bike.

JC, I'm guessing you're going to delay the knee replacement for a while.

Trying to put that off until after I retire in a couple of years.  Can't afford to take four months off work right now.  But they shot some steroids in to my knee about 5-6 weeks ago and the pain is completly gone.  They did tell me that'll wear off at some point but on a daily basis I remain greatful for it, how ever long it lasts.

I get a steroid shot in a joint my lower back/hip once a year...  I go from excruciating pain to absolutely no pain with the steroid shot.  And it lasts about a year, then I get another.  I've been doing this for about 4 years now with success...

This was after I endured about a year of physical therapy and chiropractor adjustments resulting in not even a hint of improvement.

You must be getting old and forgetting stuff (and people).  I would never ride like that....you've just forgot who that was.

But I do have a question.....did you hang with that guy that was splitting traffic on double yellows?  Yes or no, one thing comes to mind....that ol' sayin....if you can't hang with the big dogs, stay on the porch!  :P

Interesting.  After I got the immediate relief on my knee, I asked the doc "why can't you do that for my back?".  He said "well, we may be able to".  So, coincidentally, I can't do an MRI due to all the metal in my body however, I am scheduled for a CT scan this afternoon.  I can only dream of being pain free again, even if it's temporary......I'd be up for that a hell of a lot quicker than another surgery.  Just don't feel like I'm up for to many more surgeries.

Now, back to this....

I've been pretty calm and relaxed about it until the last 24 hours or so.  Now I'm obsessed again.  :)  You guys know what I'm a talkin bout.
