I bought two of this Yuasa batter this spring. Both bike's batteries would be four year's old this year so it was time. It's 500 CCA. Se better than OE. Price was about $140 through Amazon. In the couple months they've been in service I'm pleased. Both spikes spin better than they did. So far so good.

Really happy with the one I got after you first posted about them, Don. Noticeably more oomph. :2vrolijk_21:

I've had the same reaction Brian. Admittedly not much time in service. So can't speak to anything other than first impression. First impression is that it's a noticeable improvement though.
It costs more than the common Battery Mart that many of us (me included) have used before. It still costs less than the HD stock battery. One other admittedly small benefit over the Battery Mart unit is that with this the posts are flush to the front of the battery. So no more having to deal with those little spacers. I would have said large quantities of bad words in high volume if I'd ever dropped one of those things on the side of the road or a hotel parking lot somewhere.

Was shocked to learn the stealership is selling replacement batteries for $180.
Think I will check out the YUSA reference above.
Also see the lithium ion batteries are out for around $300.

I gave $90 something for my Battery Mart unit delivered to my door. Soon be a year and no problem. The OE battery with discount would have been $144.00, but I would have had to drive 52 miles round trip to get it. Free shipping & no tax has changed my life.
