Just had a set of hard bags painted B/B for my wife's SE Deuce. My painter Lenni (http://www.krazykolors.net/Gallery1.htm) said he had to paint and repaint them as the first time he got the process wrong. He said the midnight black actually has metal flake in it and the cobalt blue is sprayed over the midnight black. When the blue hits the metal flake, it makes it jump and turns it purplish. Said the process was a royal pain in the a** but he was very proud of the results - as well he should be.

There is Magenta in the Starlight Black. That gives it the purple look

Hogasm,
Chad or Twink did all the matching in his shop. I do not know of the paint code for the gold stripe. I knew this would be a bear going into it so I wanted a turn key (or wrench) job done. If I need anything painted to match I will have CC Custom do the paint work.
