i have a 04 seeg with se slip ons race tuner, 102 hp but i would like to get 10 more hp with out going high compression route, my wrench says i could put hd's 251 cams and perfect fit push rods and pick up 6/8 hp does this sound right, is this a low end torqe cam?, anyone ever use this cam? do they have to remove your heads when installing the perfect fit push rods?

Yup, the 251 is a low end torque cam and your local wrench is telling you straight. You'll bump the HP at least 5, but the real significance of this cam is a seat of the pants jump in the low end useable torque. Recently set up a stock '04 103 for a friend who simply wanted more go on the low end and smoother rollon torque when mountain riding. I don't have his dyno sheet, but I'm certain it was about 109 HP and 116 torque with SE RT, Stage 1 and Rineharts. I think you'd like the smooth of this cam. Just remember, it's a chain drive cam and check your oil filter element at least every 2nd oil change.

My 03 ultra was 109 / 109 with the 251 Cam . Honestly for the big bikes it is my choice of cams over the 203, 204, 211 when choosing harley cams. It gets the bike going and has great TQ from around 2k to 5200. I don't know if you will see more than 5 hp / tq but there is one way to find out

Maybe Hub noticed the absence of an air cleaner mod being mentioned. I would have to agree that with the stock airbox, those numbers seem unachievable. However, with a SE (or similar) air cleaner and the mentioned mods, 102 TQ is no problem. Lots o' dyno sheets here with those kinds of numbers.

I just had my 05 SEEG Dyno Tuned today after installing the D&D Fatcat Exhaust,
Screaming Eagle Air Cleaner/Stage 1 and Race Tuner.
My before numbers were: 88.0 Tq and 81.4 hp totally stock, after all installed and tuned my numbers were 94.8 Tq and 95.1 hp, still low to what everone is saying there getting.

I will post the sheets as soon as he e-mails me a copy of the runs. This was done by Lozano Brothers here in San Antonio and there suppose to know what there doing. They have been building race motors for over twenty years and they have the Harley that holds the national record for a (45 degree/pro-stock class) 7.33 at 184mph in the quarter.

I do know one thing and that is this damn thing is faster than chit now even without the high numbers everone else seems to be getting. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

As has been pointed out many times here before, the Dyno numbers can be manipulated, and vary by many factors. What doesn't vary is when you line 'em up side by side and run 'em like those Hillbilly Rocket Riders do. Then all the bragging rights become valid. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] Har! spyder

HDJams, what do lozano brothers charge to tune your bike on their dyno usin the race tuner? You recommend them? got their phone number? I am in Corpus Christi and looking for a tuner to put the tune on my new RG with the '06 103" motor. Thanks. Sorry for the thread diversion.

yes the bike has the se air filter and modded se slip on's , the bike was dynoed 3 times at 3 diff. hd dealerships,94/97/102/ hp, brians hd in langhorn pa. was the final, the guy's name is dave the dyno man , he's good , i would use a gear driven cam if harley sold them , i've had so many bad after market parts, ( most of them junk) that now i'am just sticking with hd stuff,
