Where do the wheels typically start peeling first. front wheel, rear wheel, near hubs? Thanks in advance!

Bubbles where the "spokes" meet the outer rim. Looks like water beads.

I've checked really close and cant see anything, has it happened to everyone? I mean, was it the whole production run for the Detonators? or was it a different run or what? I gotta keep my eye on em I dont want to have to replace them myself. Thanks.

After 4 sets of rims I asked my dealer to let me put on chrome thunderstars instead of stock. After they installed the rims they gave me a $900 bill for the new rims with just a wholesale price credit for the stock rims. I went ape!!!
Told them to remove the thunderstars and replace the with stock again and to forget the new bike that I ordered for my wife. Tunes changed very quick and I now have thunderstar rims, and she has a new bike.

Seeing this reminded me that I had just seen a couple of great shots of NiteAl's rims when were in the valley earlier this year. If you have peeling chrome, this might be enough to convince you that the detonators are not worth falling over your sword over, so to speak. The Chrome Thunderstars look great, and unlike what was tried to be pulled on hogasm, they are less expensive then the detonators and so indeed should cost you nothing.
