Afternoon hike with the Pup

Winter boredom broken by a day in the low 50's so I go for a hike with my dog. Head up a hill in the back yard, as I hadn't been up since summer. Almost center of picture you can see a barn that is about 3 road miles away.

The woods in this area has plenty of ground squirrels (chip monks to you city folk). Running up a fallen tree is just a temporary escape.

It is sure nice to get a good day to break out of the house and enjoy the outside. Weatherman is saying we may get a couple of those next week.
