New Big Radius's Installed.
« on: March 13, 2006, 02:45:52 AM »

I took the bike out for a short ride today for the first time since installing the Big Radius's, after running the Thunderheader last year. Man, I thought everyone said the Thunderheaders were loud? Not that I mind, but these Big Radius's are considerable louder. I'm gonna have fun this year pissing off the dick next door.   [smiley=banana.gif] [smiley=jalapeno.gif]

They are just right in my mind!  Idling they give the right sound and when you get on it they bark quite nice.  In my mind, they are the only pipes that perfectly fit the SED!

I like 'em very much too. I spent all winter looking at different pipes before settling on the Big Radius. You're right, they look perfect. However, if I could have, I would have preferred a custom set, like this one made by Palhegyi on this Road Star. Same basic idea, but I like the tips much better. Too bad he had no interest in making me a one-up set for my bike.   :'(  However, the Big Radius's are a very close #2.

Anyway, while I know alot of folks said I would take a performance hit by removing the Thunderheader, they were just so damn ugly - well look at my avator, which I'll have to change asap.
