That sucks!  There was a time when baggers were pretty safe but that's not the case anymore.  I hope he's able to recover and ride again.

As a "professional"  [smiley=1syellow1.gif] in these matters... I can assure you... with 99% certainty... IF it's still in one piece, it ain't red anymore.

But I have to agree that more likely it's been a donor and completely disassembled.  Check Ebay for Red Ultra bodywork  [smiley=cry2.gif]

Nothing is safe any more...People laugh at me when I place over 5 different lock on the bikes...even then that's not enough...

Damn Shame.

Don't give up hope. Had our entire race trailer, containing tools, leathers, helmets, pit bike and one of the two drag bikes taken from the lot at the dealership. Didn't hear anything the first week but by the end of the second week we had recovered everything but two pair of simpson racing shoes, from three different locations. Three arrests, one based on the DNA left behind on a cigarette butt. One of the three was a wrench for one of the local metric stunt riding groups and was caught with a couple of metric bikes as well. One still had the fork locked. We ended up paying a $1000. reward for the return of the Buell drag bike.

It didn't hurt that the race team is co sponsored by a local police department, used in a national anti drug program  (RAD), and and the Buell said POLICE on the gas tank...
