That chit right there is why I have a carrying permit, as far as I'm concerned he tried to kill him with a deadly weapon, if that was me on a bike the lead would be flying.

The bottom line is that if either of the guys had shot him, they'd be the ones going to jail and charged with either murder or attempted murder.  Even if they had jumped him and just beat the crap out of him (which he deserved), they'd also go to jail for assault.  It may not be right, but that's what would happen.  If the guy had jumped out of the truck with a gun pointed, then you could shoot to kill...otherwise, it would be your azz going to jail and staying there a long time.  In no case would deadly force in this type of situation be forgiven, as LEO would say you had the opportunity to avoid the use of deadly force.  You have to be in fear for you life at the moment you pull the trigger, or you'll be somebody's bi@#ch in some prison.  Does the guy deserve to get his teeth kicked in?  Hell yes...but in the long run, it would be you who would suffer the most.

Hopefully, the guy's video will prevail and the jerk will get something done to him by the law.

Ummm.... Like my Daddy used to say: "In a fight, never pull out any weapon you can't eat".
Going after someone with a tire iron is intent to do bodily harm. That tire iron IS a deadly weapon last time I checked... so it's ON.

Believe me, I'm not taking up for this azzhole, and I do think he deserves to have his azz kicked.  I'm just keepin' it real...in the video, he does have a tire iron in his hand, but he made no attempt to hit either guy with it.  If either of the two guys had pulled a gun and put a cap in his head, they'd go to jail for a while...guaranteed.  I'm just sayin' that the jerk is not worth spending a few years in prison over...

I've been keeping track of this since I found where the riders hang out online.

Here's the latest:

Quote
Gary L. Hudson, 22, of Falmouth, was indicted for a May 22 incident involving the truck he was driving and two motorcyclists.

Hudson was indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment, for swerving into the path of a motorcycle driven by Keith Lytle as Lytle passed him, nearly forcing Lytle off Kentucky 22.

Hudson was indicted for wanton endangerment for nearly striking an oncoming vehicle by driving into the oncoming lane of traffic; for menacing for exiting his vehicle with a tire iron and confronting Lytle and Stratos Kambeles; and one count of reckless driving.

The entire incident was captured on video from a camera on Kambeles' motorcycle.

In Kentucky, the wanton endangerment charges carry a possible five-year sentence each, menacing is a misdemeanor and reckless driving is a traffic violation.

the truck driver is clearly in the wrong. That being said after watching the video again i don't think he intended to run anyone of the road but more to block the bikes pass and underestimated just how fast the cycles where traveling. i'm not taking sides but we all know that those bikes where crankin and we all know that the local populations on particuler roads are fed up with (scared shxtless)  the way alot of people drive(race) on these roads where they live, drive, their kids walk, bike etc.etc.

That mf should be dead by now.  I would hope enough bikers see that video and that particular F150 has been set on fire several times now.  He should sleep with one eye open.

Whether he intended to run them off the road or block them...either action is both irresponsible and illegal, not to mention that the riders could have been seriously injured or dead.  I understand that people local to a nice riding road get frustrated with all the bikes that are running the road at unsafe speeds, but the proper way to deal with it is to notify the local LEO officials and get a few tickets handed out so that word gets out to the local biker population.  Nothing justifies the driver's actions in this situation...he's fortunate that he was not dealing with some other types of riders who would have kicked his sorry ass and left him in the road bleeding or worse.  Driving/riding is not a place to carry out frustrations...it'll get you hurt eventually.
