Sure is some pretty paint (what's left of it) on all that junk.  Compared to you being able to walk around taking pictures of it, bent steel and crunched fiberglass isn't much to worry about.

Bad news is that the bike is trash.  Good news is that you're going to be OK.

The good news far outweighs the bad.

Great to hear from you.

Seriously, glad ya made it thru that, doesn't look like something anybody else wants to duplicate.

Hey Red,

I cant walk around it yet.   I am stuck in a wheel chair another month before the doc will even decide when he wants me to get up.   those pictures were courtesy of my sister and other friends.   I posted them as much for people to see as for the process of healing myself.   I really hadnt been looking at them and finally did.

Jr,

I have been watching the thread.   Glad it worked out so well for so many of you guys. So tell me are you having muscle problems from all that grinning hehe.

?????

Fr8trn,

The paint chipping is an issue Harley doesnt want to stand behind it :)   You would have thought I bought an 06 SEULTRA hehe.

Walking around, wheeling around, whatever.  You're AROUND, and that's what matters.  And I'm glad to hear it.

Take care of yourself.

Harry, sounds like you're continuing to improve which is awesome! Thanks for the posts and the pics.  It's weird how the paint comes right off those inner fairings.  Your photos of the inner fairing look just about like "just-us-6"'s bike which I saw after his wreck.  Makes me think they didn't prepare the plastic on those very well before they applied the paint. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Please continue to keep us posted on how you're doing!  It's always cool to log on and see "UnBaLaNcEd" is online and/or see the "Last post by: UnBaLaNcEd" in one of the forums.  Along with JR and countless othere here, I continue to pray for your quick and complete recovery!

Harry,
Glad to see you getting back (as much as you can) in the groove. I know now the road seems long (for your physical healing), but trust me one day in the future "we" are going to be able to look back on this while enjoying a good meal, drinks, and conversation. Then we will realize that it was only a minor inconvenience and one of those life lessons that we have to go thru.

You being able to now look at these pictures says you are well on the way to a healthy, speedy recovery. Hang in there, and we will be talking.

Yikes, sounds like you had more than just a close call....Good Luck on your recovery....and with the outcome of the insurance jerks and bank, dont let them screw you over. They might try and low ball you, hopefully they wont. btw.....how much chrome you got on that wheel chair???

Harry-

It's great to see UnBaLaNcEd posting again :)! Seems like your spirits are up and that's great!! I know you still have a ways to go before getting back to a full recovery but it'll come with time. Just hang in there and it'll all be good.

Take Care, [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
