I will do that Chip. I hope the next time the shop is a little less cramped so the photos come out better!

I would be more interested in some form of trade vs adoption. After all, you come with a Harley!

Can someone tell me a better way to handle the overflow tube off a S&S carb?

JW

I can't say for an S&S, but the one on the mikuni is about like that.... except that it's black

I route it down behind the pushrod tubes on the rear cyclinder and drop it between the engine and the tranny .... don't notice it too much .... try changing it out to a black tube

Got some action on the ol girl's build.

The air brush dude sent me some pictures of the job he's done. The following pics are before clear coating.
I'm pumped! Eve is going to be a beauty! I'll be laying eyes on em tomorrow (friend's picking up his new 09 Road Glide) so hopefully I can get some shots with clear on em.

Light at the end of the tunnel!

Thanks Scott. Can't wait to get her home and surprize my son with it. As luck would have it he's leaving for air mobile school Sunday. Both he and my daughter will be here on or around the 24th. I get to present it to him with her here also. Sometimes I have some luck too.

Thanks !!

The grips are Roland Sand Tracker Grips. They're price but I need to show the ol girl some love.

I did not look for matching foot pegs but I also do not remember seeing them listed. His web site is a PIA.

I'm happy the way she came out. My new lady really helped me when I was trying to come up with what I wanted. Now to just get her (the scooter) buttoned up and in the wind. I'm sure glad I decided to fix her up, I've had several guys begging me to let her go as I wasn't riding her. I know, I'm hanging my head in shame. I could not let her go, never will.

Great looking build Jeff, good to see the FXRs accepted by the younger riders too.  Some of us 'old birds' have been on to a good thing for a long time.  Your pics are getting me thinking too.  Was able to get two pics of my scoot on 'FXR Chatter' - page 34, and wanted to thank you for helping me.....take care, Greg
