Panacea turn signals
« on: April 11, 2005, 11:44:10 AM »

I have the panacea on my RK and I defenitely notice a change in behaviour when braking. I want to add to the SEEG, I know the tail light will be the same (4889) just not sure if the Kuryakyn part for the turn signal would be the bullet classic (4834 smoked) or the new bullet (4949 smoked). Has anyone added this to theirs and know which is correct?

UFO, I'm not sure what's meant by a "change of behaviour" when stopping with the Panacea lights?  You mean the behavior of others because they see you better?  Or are you referring to something else?  Thanks.

Get the (existing) part numbers from your '05 Parts Manual and post them here.  Many of us have the '04 Parts Manuals that can then be used for comparison.

You folks are just great, thanks for the help.
I called Kuryakyn directly as the Hog Farm did not know either. So for all interested I'm using the 4889 Tail light with blue dot (you can use 4886 4889 4887 4828 and 4833), the 4949 new bullet smoked lens for the rear TL (you can use 4835 for red) and 4825 nbsmk for the front (4836 for amber). And for anyone interested, I added a 4857 load equalizer for alarm system on my RK otherwise the red key light stays on, the alarm works fine but the light being on drove me nuts.

some info in this thread...also a pic of my load equalizers connected in parallel.

and
http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=eg_gen;action=display;num=1083895298;start=15

Note, I used both supplied Load Qualizers in Parallel however, other's had different installs.  I do not have a fast blinking nor a Key light problem with my install.
