i rode today did you
-
Unfortunatly I did not. [smiley=mean.gif]My employers insurance does not allow motorcycles to be rode for any company business, or during working hours, (even on lunch) [smiley=furious.gif]. And since they provide me with a vehicle I guess I can't complain to much. [smiley=shifty.gif]But I sure would rather ride!!

Absolutely!! [smiley=laugh.gif] I've got my boots kicked up on my desk right now.

EVERY-day is ride to work day! [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Oh Jim.....that's a direct violation of the Unruh Act. There's already case law on that issue. You might want to contact the Confederation of Clubs....they're fighting that kind of discrimination. It usualy goes away with just a letter from the attorney.......and I don't believe that you're named in any way.
Unfortunately, for me, I have a couple more weeks of mending with the artificial hip. But normally, I ride to work about 50% of the time.

I suppose I could leave my company vehicle at work and use my bike to and from work but that would be a hassle since i'm in the field so much and my day does not always start and end at the office. I don't know that their breaking any laws. I've been told that it is our insurance company that won't allow it [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

I had to get mine back from the shop first, another rear tire at 20 K, but she's a gleamin' in the parking lot. [smiley=cool26.gif] In fact, I think I can hear it calling me now! [smiley=idea.gif]

Carefull posting that stuff!
Some chief here in MA let his son use the Jail and cars for publicity shots for their band. The only reason we know this is because the son went on a bank robbing spree recently and now his Dad is in hot water for the photos.
That said...I am Jealous!

That just isn't right!!! [smiley=znotworthy.gif] All thru life I've been warned about going to jail and all the bad things that can happen to you i.e.: guards are big, ugly, and will mistreat you, and oh, lets us not forget about "Bubba" and the old drop the soap in the shower!!! [smiley=laugh.gif]
Dr. Evil, since we are both public safety officers and those ladies don't look to me to be disturbing the peace, matter of fact, they look awful hot to me. Would they be needing the services of a "Firefighter" [smiley=fireman.gif]? If so I volunteer my services (BTW which is something (volunteer) I haven't done since being one of U.ncle S.am's M.isguidied C.hildren). But I'm willing to sacrifice myself for the team
[smiley=tongue2.gif]

Unfortunately I didn't ride today. I left one job (firefighter) this morning at 7:00 AM (after 24 hour shift) and went to another job before coming home. Don't normally ride to work at Fire Department because never know when I could be shipped to another station, and it's kind of hard taking all my gear, linen, and personal stuff on bike. Only so much you can fit in saddle bags [smiley=confused.gif]
-
It scares the hell out of me, but I try to ride to work at least once a week...
(It's a little spooky leaving my baby parked outside the welfare office!!!) [smiley=nervous.gif]

Was just like any other day I rode.
