Where is Spydglide?

I haven't heard from Spyd, or seen him on the board in a long time...that's unusual.  Last time active was 2/7.

Has anyone heard from him or know if everything is OK?  Sure hope he's OK... :nervous: :nervous:

I think I was out of town around then and that's around when we converted.  Maybe Neal could rattle him through his email since its hidden from the membership.

Hope he's ok as well, maybe a month vacation to the Virgin Islands he forgot to tell us about.

I just tried to call him, no answer left a voice mail. Hopefully he'll return the call or get online to let us know he's alright. I think I remember him saying he was going to try to make it to DBBW, but haven't heard anyone there mention they had seen him.

Yea, Gary...he WAS talking about making it down to bike week, but since I haven't seen any posts from him about Daytona, or him trying to hook up with somebody and ride down, it got me a bit worried.  I know his mom was having some health issues, so I'm just a bit concerned about the situation. He was one of the very first to befriend me through a PM last spring when I joined the site and I haven't forgotten that.  He's a hell of a guy, and getting to meet him in MV last year just reinforced that.

You are so right Spyder is a great guy. I remember last year when I went to MBBW he rode up to meet me at the dealership in Smithfield N.C. that I had gotten my bike from. He's the type of person you can talk to for a few minutes and you get the feeling that you've known them forever. I was really sorry I didn't get the chance to see him again in MV. I will definitely let you know when I hear back from him.

Gary...thanks so much for getting in touch with him!!  I was getting worried about him...it's at least good to hear that HE is fine, but hate to hear about his family health issues.  Spydy is just one of those "Salt of the Earth" type people...genuine, caring, and just one hell of a guy.  I have the utmost respect for him...my thoughts will be with him and his family.

Was thinking about him last weekend.  His was the first I remembered seeing with the tranny side cover installed when it wasn't supposed to fit.  After bugging him about it a couple times over like 12 months I'd finally bought one.  Then it set around here until last weekend when I finally got it put on.  It wasn't supposed to fit.  And it didn't the hydraulic six speed without a little reengineering.  But all the while it was going on I was thinking of the thanks I owed him for the heads-up and the chance to see it on his bike.

My very first PM on the site came from Spyduh. Wanted to know how I came about the Spiderman site name. We had a nice "chat" about that and more or less became site buds. Sure hope he's ok. He's a righteous brother that's for sure.
