One downside to the in-the-fairing install is if the transponder is not read.  We, if there is a gate anyway.  I can tell you this has happened to me twice at the same location and naitram also when I was with him.

The Newburgh Bridge over the Hudson, I-84 was the location.  I had to rip it off the windshiled and hand it to the attendant.

Some of us have to live with toll booths. A pain in the neck. So now I have this lttle blue box I need to affix to the bike. Anyone have E-zpass or similar install on their bike? Looking for ideas on where to mount.

Good Luck with all that stuff and GOD Bless 'ya for dealin' with it.  In my area, I can only count 2 places that requires a TOLL within 300 miles and that includes a ferry ride.

I think Delaware has more tolls then Jersey [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

If I want to go to the Kancamangus HighWay the short way up RTE95 I have three tolls $1.00,.75 and .75 . I might be wrong but NJ seemed like they had a toll booth every quarter mile. The Cheasapeake Bridge was like 10 bucks but at least it was fun. Hard to believe parts of the Country don't deal with it at all.

The CBBT is now $12 for cars with no discount for MC since 6/1/04.   They do not take EZPASS ...yet

I've had no problem with it in the right fairing pocket -- just put some velcro on the back of the cover flap, all done. No msifires.  DREBBIN

I got a "PikePass" attached to my fairing underside and it works great.  Nobody can steal it easy either.  Yours sould work the same.  Just don't know what the rules or laws are in your state, but an extra doesn't cost anything here.
