Bohannon Battery Distributors sells Dekka Batteries for Harley touring bikes for $109.00 shipped, no taxes and $85.00 for the smaller battery.

Odyssey batteries is the best choice. Batteries Plus or www.summitracing.com handle that brand. I really had excellent experience in stock OEM HD batteries. Last bike, a 2007 CVO Ultra Black Ice/Electric Orange I sold last june 2010 with stock battery without trouble. Of course, always a battery tender connected when not in use. Now, with extended warranty, I don't worry about until july 2017.

Well I fired mine up today for the first time since Dec 1. Rode it around the neighborhood for a bit and I have a code light and a battery light lit up. Code says it's "low battery voltage". It's been kept on the tender all winter. Looking at Battery Mart but there's are back ordered until 3/24. Not in a huge hurry for it at the moment.  Also looking at this one from fleabay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/161243519775?item=161243519775&viewitem=&vxp=mtr
Seller doesn't have the best feedback in the world over the last month but he is a high volume seller. Can't please everyone. It says it comes with a 3year warranty but I wonder how that would work if it died on the road somewhere. I sent him a message asking about the weight of the battery also as I see the one at BM list a weight of 23lbs. Just curious if there's a big difference. More lead in there would mean more weight if I figured that right.

Another interesting point. I called my service department to ask just in case the battery is covered by my ESP and it isn't. The guy did  say though the battery may come back up with some good riding. It's 3 1/2 years old. I'm not sure if I want to trust it or not as it had a few slow starts last fall. Anyone heard of the bike itself helping bring the battery back up to snuff?

You may want to check out a DEKA battery. I got a DEKA for the wifes Road King. It was also on ebay. Looks a lot like the one 2K listed. You don't want the one you found on ebay, the small thin battery posts could break and short out under motorcycle vibration. Check them out you will see a difference.

Deka ETX 30L I think is the touring battery.

Your welcome! Happy to help. Oh riding it on a regular basis could help for a while, I did that with Road King but one day when she really wanted to ride it would not start. Just a matter of time.

I think you might find that only the sales and shipping operations are in Indiana.

I caught the fact that they are operating out of In, just couldn't find anything that said they are manufactured there. I see a few off brands with the EPM label right on them. I'll just do the safe thing and order one of the Deka's online.
