Title: Cigarette lighter
Post by: Glenncarp on September 12, 2021, 02:51:26 PM: Okay, I'm going the other way here, On my 16 CVO road glide it came with a cigarette lighter, on my 2019 road glide special it came in at 12 volt power adapter. I'm looking to light cigars while riding so I went to an auto parts store and bought the cigarette lighter that fits into the 12 volt adapter, it did not work. Wondering if there is a special cigarette lighter I can buy for a 12 volt adapter or do I need to swap out the 12 volt adapter which I never use for an actual cigarette lighter port?

Correct. I had to do that to my '15.
Remove fairing
Unplug wires to existing power port
Remove power port by unscrewing it
Install cigar lighter base
Plug wires into new base
Reinstall fairing
Plug in lighter and enjoy
Parts back then were somewhere around $25 if I remember correctly
