You can't even decide when to change a tire let alone paint!  ;D

This is true..I've-re-re-rechanged my mind.

Chuck, man that sucks but so very gald you are OK.  That custom paint shop Don linked to is pretty cool but I still think I'd go stock.  I like to cvo colors, some more than others but they're all AOK.

Look at it this way... When you first saw your bike you fell in love w/the color, and if not for this unfortunate accident you wouldn't consider changing it so why consider now. :nixweiss: Put it back like it was when you first saw it and had to have it. :2vrolijk_21:

I guess that's what is different for me. I picked the red bike because I liked that one best out of the three choices. My first choice would have been a blue bike, but I didn't like the blue they were offering. I really wanted a blue like that used on the 04 CVOs.

Since I'll be receiving enough money to either replace it or repaint it all, now I have an option to get a CVO with a paint scheme I feel is more like I would expect to see on a $35k bike. It's not a secret that the 2007s didn't receive rave reviews for the paint design. Now I can either take advantage of the situation and try to make lemonade out of a basket of lemons, or just order the parts and have a CVO bike like all the others. Not that that's bad, just thinking about my options.

First, it is good to see you're okay.  Second, there is no question in my mind that the bike should be returned to bone stock.  I would wait as long as it takes to order the necessary parts to get that bike to the correct original condition.  It's a CVO, don't mess with the best.  :coolblue:

Last one

I could have done a better photo documentation, but I was still a bit shaken up. I've got some on the other camera I took when I got home, showing some of the details for the insurance Co.

I took it over to Killer Creek today to get an estimate done. I should get the results tomorrow.
