Hmmm, how does that old saying go... Oh yeah, "Blondes have more fun".

I think both of them will have a great deal of fun on that beautiful new ride.

Congrats to you both.  :2vrolijk_21:

it looks like a nice bike but other than the numbered plate there are only a couple hundred more of my 09 ruby made. its not that limited of an edition when you look at all the other cvos. after all its only a color combo
"All" the CVO's are in "Limited" Numbers, some coulors have had more made than others but still a CVO is a Limited Production Line  :2vrolijk_21:

Saw one in Daytona Sunday.  I was first on the list at Athens HD and called them today and had them scratch me off.

Three things I didn't like about the bike.

1.  The paint just doesn't do anything for me.  You can see the flames and pinstripe standing next to the bike, but move back about 20 feet and the bike looks completely black.  I'm sure some folks will like that feature, but not me.

2.  The blacked out parts look out of place on an Ultra.  I guess I've just got a severe case on OCD.  Guess I'm not a OBD kind of guy!

3.  The GPS jack and patch cord looks very "cheesy".   You would think Harley would have came up with a better design for a 40k bike.

Hey guys!

The came with a blackened SE Ultra specially for those who have enough with the chrome and like the black look of a bike.  Anyway, from my point of view, a Harley is at it's best when it's painted black.

I just traded my two bikes for this one, a 03 Heritage all chromed (and I mean it) and an 05 Night Train with a springer fork (what a bike!).  The two bikes were great and different.

The big difference was the washing time!  An hour for the Heritage and 20 minutes for the Night Train (that means more time to ride, isn't it the reason why we pay that much???)

That beeing said guys, everybody have different tastes (if not, it would be very dull...) and I hope we can ride together sometimes and talk about this with a couple of drinks!!! :drink:

Take care!!!

Anyone knows if the fork is black painted or it is a special kink of black chrome ?

I asked one of the HD reps at the display the same question.  He didn't know!  Imagine that!
 :confused5:

Looks like paint or powder coat.  Looks too dark to be black chrome.

Here's three pics at different distances that shows how the paint "changes".

This one is about three feet away.

After looking at these pictures I'm not sure if it's the distance, angle or direct/indirect sun light that makes the paint appear to change.
 :nixweiss:

Maybe a combination of all three.
