Candy Cobalt 2012 SERG

Hi,

I went to the dealer and they had a Skunk, I liked it but it didn't move me far enough to pay the price.  The dealer has a Candy Colbalt Blue coming in late October/November. Wondering if anyone landed one or saw one yet?  I think that may be my first choice after seeing the white, not sure on the Maple, probably would like to see that too before deciding.  I made a big mistake selling my Batbike, big time sellers remorse, however my wife never rode with me, plus I always preferred the fixed fairing so I will continue to try and bullchit myself so i can feel better.  Anyway.....appreciate if the group can keep an eagle eye out for one that has landed, or if anyone picked one up and has real pictures.

I saw it at Sturgis and thought it was a great looking bike, but maybe I'm partial to the cobalt blue.

I think that the color description is the same as on the 2011.5 CVO Ultra Classic (I'm a proud owner).

Thanks for the Pics!!  I think you made it pretty easy for me.  I already saw the Skunk in person, I'm first on the list for the Candy Colbalt and based on your pictures it's pretty much a slam dunk!  I assume you had to pay MSRP, hopefully not over?  It's unreal how much these guys are still getting for the 2009's that are out there?  HD apparently plans on keeping these to a minimum.

I think the Candy Cobalt Blue is one of the nicest colors they've ever put on the CVO's, and I'm not typically a big fan of blue vehicles of any kind.  It's really a rich color...striking, in fact.  Of course, RED is king, but alas, they don't have a RED RG CVO this year...if I were choosing a '12 CVO RG, Blue would be the one.   :2vrolijk_21:

RED is fastest too, but I'd be happy to have a Cobalt Blue right behind me... :huepfenlol2:

MAN - that BLUE is GORGEOUS! I like the paint lines - particularly the front fender, how the lines seem to come right off of the front tire. VERY NICE!

That lift is for quick work and when washing the bike... for the heavy stuff I use this one (photo with my previous bike):

MSRP, correct.  I did get something like 50% on the add ons (tourpak,saddlebag spoilers, locks, etc)

Make sure you post the pictures with the tour pak & spoiler!!!  They are supposed to get one in later this month.  I get first look at it and 1st choice.  I've been a good customer of the dealership, sent them a lot of business, plus this will be my 5th bike from them.  I have a friend thats going to order a RoadGlide Ultra at the same time.  I would expect a discount from MSRP, plus the usual 20% off accessories until next spring.  I'm in Michigan, so it will sit for the winter.
