Thunder Max Closed Loop Upgrade Status

I called Zippers this morning and spoke to John Williams, who informed me that the closed loop upgrade is due "any day" now.

Hi John, yes, we are just as anxious to ship as you are to receive!  I checked, you're #41 on the list, and once the pipeline starts flowing it should fill pretty quickly.  Thanks for your patience.  JK

John (an old Zipper's customer) has graciously offered to let us install a unit on his bike.  I'm sure he'll post a report for all to see.  Stay tuned.....

I spoke with Dan on Monday about the '07 crank limitations and he was waiting on additional information before recommending a build plan.

John,

I heard back from S&S that initially, only a week or so, then they called back later and said it would be longer, but not too much longer, couple of weeks maybe.  Sounds a bit vague, but I am keenly aware that new parts take time and pestering them every day for an exact delivery date won't get it here any faster and I know they have better things to do.  

We will proceed with the other work that needs to be done in the meantime.  Thanks, JK
