Hey guys i'm new to Harley and forums so a little help would be appreciated. I put a deposit on a 2014 CVO Breakout back in February before they even knew if they were going to be built, and at that time all dealers in Alberta had people on waiting lists already. I have first choice at a dealer 1800 km away, and they don't know if they will get any for sure or what colors, i want the orange. Is this how it normally goes? Also are the Screaming Eagle parts on this bike the "good stuff" or should i get pipes etc installed before i go pick it up?

There are still a few 2013's out there if you want one of those. Not sure how much they are going for. Last year the dealers were not allowed to order any until Dec 12th. Up until that point they pretty much had to take what was sent out. Guessing that at some point your dealer should be able to order the color that you want.

Get the bike, it is beautiful and a great ride. Although it has a bunch of Screaming Eagle parts, it really needs to lose the CAT and get a Tuner. Since the dealer is so far away, I would have that done when you pick up the bike. Or if you have another dealer closer, put 1,000 miles on the bike, then have it done, it really opens up the motor.

Thanks guys, i heard from the dealer they got an invoice for a silver/black, but they have not gotten thier alotment list yet so i can take this one if i want. They should know this week exactly how many and what colors so i have a few days to decide. Still hope they get an orange one. i will order pipes etc from that dealer as they will give me a discount.  Probably big radius 2 into 2.

No "new" ones anywhere, but a few used ones for sale- some going for around MSRP and others priced outrageously.

There are quite a few 13 CVO Breakouts on Ebay right now, one is listed as used but with only 5 miles.
