Very nice looking seat, I have owned 2 corbin seats in the past and prefer the ride much better than stock. I am also vertically challenged and would like to know more about the nose job you speak of. Did you order by phone or were you able to visit one of Corbin's stores.

Rooster...What they do is basically cut the front 1/3 to 1/2 of the seat narrower a bit, to allow for comfort under the legs and for reach to the ground...otherwise, it's the same seat.

Thanks Tc, sounds like the right adjustment for me. That is the only complaint I had about my old road king. I still have my first Corbin on my 96 wide glide with over 50k it is the most comfortable seat I have ever sat on. Wife agrees.

VERY nice look and the proof is in the comfort. I hope you enjoy many comfortable miles on that seat. BTW, how much??

Don, couldn't be happier with the look...the feel on a short ride feels really good.

Glad someone is going to be doing some riding today. Doesn't look good for here, and I would hate to think what temperatures are north of me. [smiley=nervous.gif]

Heh, you can ride up and visit me, and really test out that heated seat/gear. ;D

Gary...at least the sun is out, buddy.  It got down to 31 here last night, but is warming up to near 60.  We'll just take a short ride today, but are meeting Bob (tbone) and Ilene tomorrow for lunch in Northeast Alabama.  It's about a 250 mile round trip for each of us.

We're going to get up to Virginia next year for sure, and I hope to visit with you again then!!!  Probably late spring...

I'm going to do 500 miles or so this weekend, so will post a report on the feel.  I tested the heater this afternoon, and it is better than stock!!!

TC,

Let us know about the back rest you got as well. I love the size of the stock back pad but it feels like it has a "knot"  at the bottom of it for me. I leave it off for now. The heater is better than stock?? WOW! Does that mean hotter? If so you can probably warm you hot chocolate on that puppy. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

This is true, but it's still only getting up to 40 +/- today. I can remember when I was younger I would just wrap up (barely) and go out riding in weather like this, but father time has put a stop to that. When I was younger I didn't understand when the "old" folks said they were "cold to the bone". However I know well of what they were talking about now, and it's not where I want to be.

I haven't been on my scooter since cleaning it up after MV. :o Between work, family stuff, cooler weather I just have not had the opportunity/desire to get out and ride. Hopefully by next spring (after the operation) the desire will return and I'll be ready to get some major miles in the wind. Let me know when/where you going to be in Virginia when the time gets closer.

SE and Rooster....shoot me a PM and I'll give you some details about cost and ordering directly from Corbin California.  I might be able to save you a couple of bucks!! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Glad I'm not the only one.  Between the cold and the rain, it's been freakin' miserable here ever since getting back.

Much like it is today [smiley=sauer055.gif] :
