over here oct. 3rd is National Day, good opportunity for some season end riding.

This year we rode from our hometown Dresden via Wrocław and Częstochowa to the opposite end of Poland, Krakòw, about 800 m round trip, 6 days.

I'll quote myself from the other ride report you posted today brother....

Good weather, good friends, great bikes, great roads and absolutely beautiful countryside....thanks for sharing the trip with us... ;D

One question...I ain't no good at readin' German (picture 20) so the house in pictures 19 and 20....sure looks like the house they used (either as a model on a movie set or the actual house) in the movie "The Dirty Dozen".....probably not, but looks like it or similar.... :nixweiss:

@Haird:

"The Dirty Dozen" was produced in England, so it seems very unlikely indeed, besides in 1967 Poland was quite inacessible for western film crews.

@Nigel:

since the Kaczyńskis got out of rule Poland is heavily investing in its infrastruture, the roads in most parts of the country today are already better than many in Germany. Traveling Poland today is fast, safe and easy (and still comparatively cheap).
