"Dyno tested , resulting in 2-6 hp increase over factory OEM wires "

Pure, unadulterated BS of the highest order.  Buy this stuff only if you enjoy supporting liars and crooks.

BTW, changing plug wires to a nonstandard type on a modern Harley isn't necessarily a good idea, as the wires can affect the ECM's ability to monitor combustion properly.  Yes, the ECM monitors things like detonation using the plugs and wires as sensors.

Yup, x 2- I just replaced my stock wires and plugs with HD SE 10mm orange wires and the HD platinum plugs- with these items, I think it's best to stick with HD stuff.

I agree that the hp increase sounds like absolute BS.  I figured I would change out the wires while I was changing out the plugs.  Am I the only one who thinks that while we pay a huge premium for a "Screaming Eagle" bike and then get charged extra if we want upgraded "Screaming Eagle" plug wires is just a little stupid?

Probably no more stupid than actually paying a lot extra for them just because they're out there to buy.  The stock wires are fine.  Of course I paid extra for the red ones......  But hey, they're red :huepfenlol2: .

I want BLUE!

You're screwed!  Harley only offers their wires in red, orange, black and yellow.  Have seen aftermarket blue wires.  But without the high density chrome SE wire cores, the broad spectrum poly based exoatmospheric boot insulators and the little bird head silk screened on the box they can't be nearly as good.

Can't have that, I guess I'll have to get the long one red and the short one orange and alternate them on Opposite Tuesdays.

Agreed ,

Did the SE 10mm wire thing.  Took the ECM ? 500-1000 miles to fill in all the perameters before everything worked well.

Anybody else reading this:  Don't get the black ones, you have to size them yourself.  Orange is already cut, molded sealed, just install.  Some may prefer to zip tie a spacer between to hold the wires apart.  Like the original clip spacer that they never gave back after the first service.

I think the black ones also come in pre fit sizes based on the specific bike.  I did notice that they advertise a Multi Fit version in different colors.  Maybe those are the ones that you have to trim to size?

Hey Jack!

I am curious about the ECM filling in parameters that you mentioned in this post.  How could you tell?  I finally picked up a set of the SE 10mm wires today and even picked up a replacement for the clip spacer that I will have to tear out when I replace the wires.

Thanks for the info... I'm just wondering what to expect (if anything) from the bike/ECM after I throw on the new wires.

Yey, the black ones I bought were ready made.

Around $20 in Australia, it's about the cheapest thing I've bought from Harley..  ;D
