Looking for wheel chock recommendations. What type of self latching wheel chock do you like? How about Wheeldock , Condor or another brand? I will be installing it on a Texas Bragg open type trailer with rockgaurd. Will be mainly be using it on a triglide or limited but would like to be able to use it for other bikes if necessary. Thanks for any input.

I have a Wheeldock and a Harley believed made by Condor for Harley. The Harley is typical drive in and rock out. On a smooth surface such as a garage floor it wants to push ahead when trying to load the bike in it. With the trailer mount that is not a problem and can be easily removed from the trailer with undoing 1 wing nut. Well built with adjustments for tire size.
I purchased the Wheeldock for my wife's Switchback so she did not have to load or rock the bike out. She, and I love the Wheeldock. You drive straight in and the weight of the bike holds the chock in place and then a simple push of the pedal locks the bike in. I use it all the time for washing both bikes. They also have the trailer mount as an accessory that stays in the trailer for easy in and out of the chock. I am seriously thinking about buying a second one for myself just for the garage and leaving the Harley Chock in the trailer. Have had no problem with the hydraulic ram and the entire chock feels and looks heavy duty as well as American Made.

Another vote for the Wheeldock. I also mounted the quick release bar to my Aluma trailer so I can use it on there with ease.

I have had the Condor for five years in the garage. Use it for both the Road Glide and my Titan Gecko Stretch. Great quality and convenience. Can't speak to the other brands.

I had a Condor that I sold at the swap meet. Never used it on a trailer, only in the garage. When driving in, it moved forward too much b/c of the rotating piece, and I didn't like the "rock to unload" aspect.
Got a WheelDock now. Love it; use it every day in garage to use less space. Very easy to enter/exit with the foot-operated "wheel holder." Would not go back to one like the Condor/Harley.

I have Condors in a trailer and really like them. Never had an issue but I bet most of the good ones are pretty much the same.
Have a cheap HF one on my lift table just for ease of use, but I would not trust that one in the trailer.

Thanks for the input. I'm going with the wheeldock. I figure if I get two of the trailer mounts I can put the extra one on my lift and get rid of that P.O.S. vise type wheel clamp and just move it back and forth from trailer to lift as needed.

I've had a Condor in the FEATHERLITE for years. No problems, but it is a little awkward on an Ol' Man, jerking a Dresser up out of it. Been thinking about getting a Wheeldock, and probably will, if I get a new Trailer. Buddy of mine wants to buy my '02 FEATHERLITE, but I've got second thoughts about a new one, 'cause they really ain't FEATHERLITE, anymore. Universal Trailer bought FEATHERLITE out, (excluding Race-Car Transporters and Motor Coaches), and they really took the beef outta' their MC Trailers. Ruined them, IMO. Later--HUBBARD

Another enthusiastic vote for Wheeldock. American made, very, very reasonably priced, great customer service when I contacted them with a couple pre-purchase questions and it works like a charm. :2vrolijk_21:

Got three Condors, NEVER had one slide while loading, Not even sure why one would and the concrete in my garage is pretty slick. I don't have a problem unloading, just rock back, grab the front brake then release brake and roll out. If you watch the guys at the demo's @ bikeweek they make loading and unloading look so simple, and it really is.

Used condor for years. Rock solid, easy to adjust for different wheel sizes and need just 2 additional tiedown points to hold dressers in place.
