Thanks, Fired00d, but I've already fixed my problem with a couple of feet of 5/16" hose running to the ground.  It's not purty, but I guess it works.  -Steve

Steve, you can relatively effectively hide that line and get it to blend in if you wish.  Get some black or stainless braided line (whichever best matches your cylinders).  Let it drop down behind the air cleaner and then go between the cylinders at their base.  Out the other side and forward.  Use a line clamp attached to the bolt that holds the crank position sensor.  On forward and down to the frame tubes.  Then on under the bike and back to the rear.  I used zip ties and carried the line all the way back crossing over the dog bone and stopping just short of the swingarm.

Most people never even notice the line is there.  The stainless braided line worked best for me.  But that'll depend on your background colors.

If you've got a football sized air cleaner cover the line connection to the vent is all but entirely hidden from side view.  If using a smaller cover the only thing to think about adding is perhaps some chrome hose clamps.  I used this beastie.  Normal speed shop stuff or you can score them on eBay.

Spin around so the screw head is on the back side and, voila, nothing but chrome :2vrolijk_21: .

They're also available in colors.  Got a few red anodized around here that I've thought about using in a couple places. Just never made the change yet.
