SE patch

Been working to get what I want out of an SE patch. Wanted it on brown leather and without the "Performance Parts" text.

Results below. Willing to share info if you want one. You can choose the colors of the text, eagle, color surround, oval and fill.

Stitched area is 5 inches across and looks much better than photos. I chose gold fill and red surround because of my bike colors.

Just to clarify, I am not selling these. I started out by purchasing the metal SE badge from HD, had a stitch file made at my expense and paid to have the embroidery work done. What I am offering is the stitch file so that you can find an embroiderer and do the same or use the one I used if you wish. You will not send me any money and I have no business relationship with the embroiderer. They charge $20 to stitch this on the object of your choosing using the colors you choose. I want to be sensitive to HD copyrights. I also want to get the colors I want on the material I choose.

I am not a lawyer but I have experience with copyright laws from the photo business I have but the whole idea of copyright is that it cannot be reproduced in any form (even personal use) without the permission of the copyright holder.
To make things worse changing colors/ design or anything else is also a offense. Not only yourself but the embroidery company could be liable.


BTW the MoCo is probably one of the most protective companies on the planet about their logos. Kind of like a mama grizzly protecting her cubs.

Party Pooper  ;) :huepfenjump3: If HD has enough resources to chase down little o Buy Early than I would like to suggest they redirect those resources to R&D to stop my oil leaks  8)
