Here's a update on my Fatboy build. It started Jan 15 of this year and getting close to reassemble. The engine is being build to a 103 SE Stage 4, the jugs went to Ultra Coat for powder and then to Diamond Cut. The paint is original with real flames added in. The swingarm went to Todd's Cycle for chrome and to be reworked so the drive plate and brake rotor would both be on the left side to leave the right side open for full view of PM wheels. The frame went to Chrome Masters for chroming. All new chrome front end, with new evil Ape Hangers bars custom solo seat. Most everything else has been chromed or powder coated. Air cleaner is PM, exhaust is V&H big radius 2-into-2. OK, this is where I can use some help, the engine casing is still original black but I really want to do something with that. I would like to polish them but the maintenance is a pain. I'm thinking of powder coat them sliver like our CVO's or something else, any ideas that others have done. Thanks for you help. OK, the last piece of the puzzle is on it's way to Ultra Coat. The engine case is going to be powder coated orange the same as the jugs.

Mark, as you know HD Louisville is doing the build and the GM told me that the bike would never see the inside of my barn because it will set in the center of the showroom floor. I can't wait to get the last few parts back from Chrome and PowderCoat.

I liked the powder coat the engine silver idea myself. But, hey it's your party. Looks great so far!

The bars in these pic's are 17" Carlini Evil bars. I have on order but 6 weeks out are 16" Paul Yaffe's Monkey bars. I could not figure out what would look better so I want to see both on. I know that sounds NUTS but I spent a chit load of time and just could not decide. Both bars are a work of art and made very well. I will need help in this department. There are 5 more parts at ChromeMasters and final decided on Grips and Floorboards. I went with Arlen Ness "Deep Cut Line". All the grips, floorboards, passenger pegs, brake and shifter, horn cover and tank dash panel will match. The seat is being made by Danny Gray and will really set the bike off. The name of the bike is "Dreamcle" and that will be in the seat along with some flames making it look like it's melting. I cannot say enough good things about Sam at H-D Louisville. He's the only mechanic that has been on this from the beginning. He's this weeks pic's.

Here's the latest pic's on the Fatboy build. Arlen Ness floorboards and pegs, matching brake pedal & shifter, V&H exhaust, bright ass light. The last of the chrome came in today from Chrome Master to mount the air pump for the suspension and new fairing. Still waiting on all the cables and seat from Danny Gray.

But what I enjoy most is looking at everything in the background.

X2 - The bike is bad a$$, but I enjoy the background of the photos on the board as well. It is like watching a reality show with out all the annoying characters.

1st you could have a picnic on those floorboards, nice with loads of room. I didn't think the powder coat engine case would look good. BUT I WAS WRONG! Bike looks like a first class show winner. It looks fast just sitting there in the shop. Atta Boy!

go with a tan seat and bags. Really makes a red bike with gold accents stand out from the rest.

Not yet, still waiting for the seats. Have 2 made - one from a local person and another from Danny Gray. The weather is chit here with snow and ice. We show her for the first time in late January so then we can see what the Judges think but to me she's No. 1
