....As for me, I bought my seeg because it has a cigar lighter.  I just LOVE the smell of a cigar, whether it's mine or someone elses.

Unfortunately, I am a smoker (cigarettes).  One of the questions that sticks in my mind when I notice the lighter on my bike is how does anyone light and smoke a cigarette or a cigar while blasting down the highway?  I have a hard enough time not setting the car on fire if I'm cruising with the window down, and the wind blast on a bike would seem to make the whole operation a total fiasco.  And that's without even factoring in the full face helmet.

I guess what I'm trying to say here is, why does Harley think I need a cigar lighter on my bike, but not better wind protection and an ashtray?  Are they trying to promote unsafe practices and littering, or what?   [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

I used that one for many years to calm down the wife....."but what about the first hand-second hand smoke?", she would remind me.

I smoked cigarettes on the bike back in the day, and it was no fun...burned my face several times before I stopped doing that. :-[

Cigars work well: half-helmet, no faceshield, big fairing, no big wind blast. The lighter works well for little stogies under about a 44 ring gauge (44/64"); anything over that usually won't burn right anyway with the wind turbulence.
I can light up on the highway or at a traffic light...beats pulling out a torch lighter and burning my nose hairs or eyebrows.  While riding I'll cup the cigar in my hand, keeping it down in front of my crotch, right above the gas tank (yeah, I know), out of the wind blast.  When the ash lets loose, most times it floats up in front of me then disappears (onto the bike behind me?).  I never flip a butt unless it's dead-cold out. No filter, so it's all biodegradeable.  However, a burning one may have accidentally flipped back onto a tailgating cage once. or twice.
And that's how I feed my addic... my other hobby. Still doesn't make it a good thing to do, though.

First-hand or second-hand: anything you 'smell' is going into your lungs with a greater or lesser consequence; cigar smoke, diesel trucks feeding the development in my neighborhood... that cataclysmic converter on the junker car that's running on 7 of 8 cylinders...  country folks who burn their trash, including styrene dinnerware and old tires... the coal-burning power plant...  the landfill... phew... perfume...gag.  :P
