CVO Convertible was replaced by the CVO Breakout.

I'm some what disappointed with this standard release. Was looking forward to having something special and very limited.

In hind sight I think I would have brought this standard model and used the $14k difference in price for a sweet 120R build.

120R and hang on! Guess I shouldn't say this but boy howdy, I can see some Raider riders getting uptight about this. "I can't believe they copied the Raider"! Uhhmmm, wouldn't it be the other way around? As a Raider owner, I don't really care and they both look pretty sharp. I have a butt load of chrome parts for it...maybe it's time to find a market for them. Not baggin' on the Raider, it runs out just fine but this just might bare looking into. Black Breakout Hot Rod.

You are aware that the touring bikes had cruise pre-'08 (before TBW), right?

You're absolutely correct sir, but, this Bike is not sold as a formal Touring Bike.

I would have been just a little pissed if they put the CVO cluster on the production model. Its definitely something that separates the two bikes.

The Breakout is also part of the HD1 bike builder program.  i went out and added the CVO wheels...$1,750 to add them in, but that is the one part I don't like about the standard model-offering the CVO wheels...

I saw the non-CVO Breakout today @ Nassau County Harley Davidson.... bike was Big Blue Pearl.  It looks pretty good, but I prefer the CVO because of all the extras that come w/ the bike especially the wheels, 110" engine, & the HANDLEBARS.  I sat on the bike, and I did not like the drag bars because it required reaching foward beyond my comfort zone.

The seating position, the foward controls, & the drag bars put me in a u-like position similar to when you are sitting on a V-Rod....

V-Rod....that got my attention  !

I agree with you on the seating position prior to 2012.  As of that year, they completely changed the ergos on the V-Rod.  It's very much an upright riding position now(except for the Muscle), otherwise, my old back couldn't handle riding one....

I was very interested to find out if the pullback risers helped with the fit of the drag bars....sounds like NOT.  That's a shame.  i think they look fantastic on the bike.
