Where can i get fit for Handle Bars
« on: May 23, 2013, 09:45:43 PM »

There seem to be hundreds of options for aftermarket handle bars. I would like to change the bars on my 2010 SEUC but I want to make sure I choose the right set for me. Height, width, pull back all the choices makes my head hurt. I like the looks of the monkey bars but I'm not sure they are the right answer due to lack of pull back and they sound like a pia to install. I'd love to find a place where I can sit on a 2010 SEUC with a stock seat and different sets of bars to experience what I'd actually be buying. I'm looking for advice on a place where this maybe able to happen or a fool proof way to unsure a pleasing fit after new bars are installed. Any and all advice is welcome.

Check out some of the custom manufacturers on line.  Most have instructions on how to measure where you want your hands to sit.

I just ordered the LA Choppers, 12" Bagger twin peaks.   I like the fit of the Monkey Bars, but not the sharp nature of the bends inside.

Thanks for the info Mike, I'd like to get the real feel if possible, but I'll investigate the web. I like the WO Chubby's, just wondering if they are going to be at any shows in the Midwest.

Just about every after market manufacturer makes their bars wider than stock, even Wild 1.  I have the 575's on my 05 and at times they seem a little wider than what I want.

Does any know if the Wild Ones crew or Cyclesmith crew will be promoting their products at any bike gatherings this summer in the Midwest ?
