Hey, just joined a couple days ago. Been riding Harleys since 1984 and everything else before. My last bike was a 98 FLTRI which was wrecked 8 months ago. My wife and I got banged up a bit, but more important it gave me an opportunity to look for the bike I always wanted a 2000 Screaming Eagle Road Glide. While being laid up for three months I discovered this site and The Bike. Good things do happen when you least expect it !
Oh yes, my grandaughter gave me the handle.

Welcome from another So. Cal. Gramps. Great looking ride! Glad you and your wife are better, we are a family and it tears us up when someone goes down. With the ever expanding So. Cal. members we need to do a group ride. Those family members up in the Northern part of the Golden State do it and put us to shame. ...thanks again for the warm welcome and kind thoughts, and yes we are both on the mend. It might take her a little longer, but she already made me change out those beautiful stock billet rear pegs for floor boards. She is looking forward to getting back in the wind when she can handle it. Here is a picture of my son and daughter in law getting married on my old chop. My wife and I are on the right. Its a drive through wedding in Vegas on bikes with the reception at the Harley Davidson Cafe. Grandpadoc
