I just wanted to introduce myself and say "HOWDY" from the great state of Tennessee! I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and also hope to find some other members in my area. Although I do not own a CVO bike, I do have a new 2008 FLHX Street Glide that I just pumped full of STEROIDS!

I just finished the engine 2 days ago so I do not have any current photos yet showing all of the recent changes. I am also in the process of getting some break-in miles on the engine so all I have done at this point is just a mild base tune to break it in so I do not have any dyno results yet. I am hoping and EXPECTING to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 110-115 h.p. MINIMUM when I get all of the tweaking and final tuning done or I will be tearing it back down and starting over. This is another reason I am here and I am really looking forward to hopefully getting some information and advice from the other HP freaks here such as myself about how to find and use EVERY SINGLE HP I can possibly squeeze out of my engine to get the very best results possible. Anyway, I look forward to meeting everyone!

congrats on the engine build

a few questions, what size is the engine and what was done

my none cvo bike is a 07 street glide, a 103 build with a head quarters set up,there head work,there cam(hq 600)cp pistons, about 10.8/1 comp
stock lower end 106hp 116tq and makes power basically of the chart,at a 100 ft# at 2900 and doesn't come down until rev limiter

35-40mpg depending on riding habit, I"ve had it now for about 18mo and have 18500mi on it and very happy with it,the bad part is my flhx 103 will kick the $h1t out of my 110 cvo cuse4(soon to be rectified

WOW!!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THE WONDERFUL GREETINGS! This seems like it is definitely going to be a very good place to be to meet some great people and to hopefully learn as much as possible about how to make the most HP with this engine. Thanks again to everyone who replied and I look forward to getting to know all of you. Hey planenut, looks like some pretty good numbers you are getting. I don't feel like mine are going to be that good although I specifically told my engine builder that I wanted a minimum of 110-115hp so I have a feeling he is going to be tearing it back down and re-doing it the way he should have do it to begin with. I just wish I would have had as many people give me advice on what to do before he built my engine as I had ever since and I think I would have specified every part to use instead of just trusting my engine builder to pick them but everyone convinced me he would do it the best possible, to get the most out of it so I just trusted him to pick everything himself and now I wish I would have used my gut instincts and picked each part myself. But, everyone told me how good he is and how happy I would be by letting him choose everything himself and now it looks like we will be starting over and me specifying every part that goes in it. Hey Jock, that is an "interesting" bunch to have as a "Welcoming Wagon" and I don't think you need to send them out into neighborhoods...they might scare the people off before they ever unpack their boxes!

BTW...Dash Riprock, I am from NW, TN around the Martin area.

I just wanted to take this opportunity again to say "THANK YOU" to all of you who have taken the time to reply and welcome me to the site. One of the things I have already realized just in the very limited amount of time I have been able to read some of the existing threads here is that there is DEFINITELY a ton of VERY, VERY useful and valuable information here on the site. I am also very much looking forward to digging deeper into these past threads, as well as, hopefully getting some other help, advice, tips, tricks, etc. from other "HORSEPOWER FREAKS" here such as myself and hopefully gain some MUCH NEEDED knowledge on my part, concerning building, maintaining, programming, testing, fine tuning, etc. to get the VERY BEST performance & MOST HP possible from this VERY HIGH-TECH beast of mine because this is most definitely a whole new world for me considering the most high-tech part on my last bike was the ignition system. Anyway, I certainly look forward to learning as much as possible from everyone here who has already "been there & done that" and has already figured out or in the process of learning how to gain the very most from these V-Twin Beast! I am also glad to see there are some other members here from TN and other areas fairly close to me and hopefully we can hook up one of these days and do some riding together. Hey Scott, I also wanted to thank you for the link to your engine build and also say that is one VERY IMPRESSIVE "grocery list" of parts you have.
