I am an older rider 72yrs young,my wife and I ride most every sunday with our local HOG chapter in honesdale pa. I have been riding off and on since age 16. my wife also rode and had her own bike when we were first married. children came along and the bikes went. Kids are married and gone now so back in 1999 my wife bought me a new HD sportster for fathers day. since then I have had 5 harleys . sportster, 2000 ultra, 2003 ultra, 05 softail 08 SG.
As an older person I love the streetglide it has a good ride and not all the weight of the ultras. I am in good health and always wanted an SE. It was a toss up between the SE and a new trike. Both a lot of bucks. I thought about it a long time but thought If something happened and I had to go to a trike at lease I could get more value from th SE if I had to sell or trade it. My lifes road trip is starting to get to get shorter each yr so what the hell go for it. A great bunch of folks on this group and looking forward to being a part of it. Any one thats gets to NEPA give me a heads up and would be glad to put you up. My SESG is to be at dealer on Jan 15th gunstock color loved the green and black but just like the gunstock more.
