Just picked up my 2011 Screaming Eagle Street Glide (diamond black) yesterday. (Or rather, the dealership delivered it to my house in their truck, we were having a rare NC snowstorm yesterday!) I'm in the Raleigh-Durham area, anyone around here say hi and we'll head out for a ride if and when it ever thaws out around here. Colder than a mother-in-law's hug around here lately. (Traded in my 2009 SE Road Glide on this new one.) Hope to meet some great people in here!

SBB I was in your area this past weekend. Helped a good friend spend his money on a new Ultra Limited. My local dealer thumbed their nose at his money for a 2011 Ultra CVO. I am sure we are going to run into each other some day.

Dang, from all over the world! Even a Frenchie! Thanks for the replies guys! Looking forward to making some great new friends and maybe meeting some of you out on the road. (If it ever warms up here. Sheesh! We hardly ever get much in NC in the way of winter/frozen precipitation, but this is our third or fourth snow in the last month or month and a half.) Go Figure! I buy a new bike and it'll reverse Al Gore's global warming for sure!

You guys are all great, thanks for the responses! I traded in my pearl yellow 2009 SERG on it, and although I'll miss the 'school bus' I'm really looking forward to the new ride. I had a regular Street Glide (pearl white) before the SERG and I did enjoy it a lot. Have not seen my SESG in the sunlight yet, it's colder'n a mother-in-law's hug here of late. But hopefully the temps will moderate sometime in the not-too-distant future. Looking forward to learning more about my bike, and participating in some of the rides I see listed on here. Thanks again, everyone!
