Not too shabby for an all Harley engine. Were you expecting more, less or what you got? Any timing changes that could have improved below 3000 rpms (even with the 515)?

What you see is the best that could be done with the given parts at hand being tuned.  Myself think that rinehart muffler are not the best choice  , but that just an opinion from a guy tuning 200+ bikes a year.  so many better mufflers out there . So he gets a loud muffler that will have purple tips by end of the year  . Speaking of tuning have to get back in both  ;D

Thanks for sharing the dynos and insight. I'm having my '17 CVO Limited 117 Stage IV (CNC Heads, 515 cam, 64mm TB, 5.5 injectors, 1275N clutch) tuned next week by Jamie at FM using my PV. The only difference in my setup is I currently have the factory headpipe with Street Cannons. I'll be using FM's new M8 2/1/2 headpipe with the Street Cannons for my new tuning.

Can you share any insight into the clutch on this dyno? Was it also upgraded to the hi-cap clutch with 1275N springs? Any slippage in the dyno data?

New Se springs kit is in fact the same stock spring used on the 14-16 bikes stock was 100 per spring new stock is 75 . Yes it had the springs in it

Steve,
To what do you attribute the "flat spot" of the TQ Curve form +-2100 to +-2700 RPM?? Is it the Cam??

Its not the cam in my opinion. At least when compared to my own dyno with the same 117 stage IV on my 2017 CVO Limited. Same 117 cylinders/pistons, 64mm TB, 5.5 gm/sec injectors, 515 cam and the hi-perf clutch kit. The only difference in my dyno is that it was taken with the factory cat headpipe plus the dialed back MoCo flashed map (no tuning). This map also shows the speed and rpm rev limiter kicking in to hold the bike back. The green line shows a dyno run with the VSS disconnected temporarily.

I'll be having the bike tuned with my PV and a new headpipe next week.

It will be interesting to see the difference in the #s & Curves...

With the differences in your & Steve's sheets, The M8 might be a good candidate for an active exhaust...

how about a chit muffler???  that is my opinion , never have nor will i ever be a fan of those mufflers. lack of volume on the other side of the baffle . Even so throw the sheet away and ride it , thing runs outstanding pulls extremely hard , you do not feel that , but then again i am not a guy that wants to go fast is going to wick it from 2000 any ways . But that is just one more opinion
