Looking good!!
I would have thought there would be a continuation of the paint scheme with some black on the lid
and/or on the sides.
-
I agree I was looking for a little more graphics on the side. I couldn't find a picture before I purchased it. That is why I posted the pictures.
-
I'm curious. I see many put a tourpak on a CVO Street Glide. Why not just buy an Ultra or Limited?
-
My previous bike was a 15 CVO Limited. It just didn't have the look I wanted. I like the extended bags, larger front wheel, stereo, and lower stance of the street glide. I need the tour pak because my 8 year old likes to take the bike to school and it is handy for trips.
-
Thanks for that pic. I kept the chopped TP I had on my '15 SGS in Charcoal Pearl cause of the higher priced the CVO TP cost over the Non CVO TP. That paint almost doubles the price! Going to have mine painted to match, but didn't see what the graphics where going to be on the '17 TP's. Kinda wished there was a little more to them besides the short flames on the lid. Probably just go with the single color in order to keep it simple and cheap. Only use it 1 time this yr and don't see that changing next yr.
-
Appreciate the pic, was thinking about adding a chopped TP but obviously if the King doesn't have any graphics certainly the chopped won't which is a deal breaker for me.. I am getting same color
-
I am having some mid frame air deflectors painted with matching graphics, I will post up when I get them on. I did that on my 12 CVO Roadglide and I think it looks great so hoping for something similar plus very convienant place to install power source for my heated gear/tender.

It's a good question so I'll give you a few reasons why I always do.
It's removable and the the CVO SG ass is much better looking with taillights and stretched bags.
I prefer the SG suspension, I'm short so it's important to me to get as much foot as I can on the ground.
The SG is just a sharper bike, especially when you strip it down and put a solo seat on and show off the rear fender and taillights.
Having said all that, the Ultra is definitely the better value. Just wish they would fix that ugly butt!

I know a guy who is considering selling one for the '15 CVO Hard Candy. Prior years they put a bit more graphics into it making for a nicer unit in my opinion
Can provide pics if anyone is interested

You will certainly generate more interest with photos than without...

What is in the eye of the man that is holding a bumble bee in his hand?
Beauty....because beauty is in the eye of the "bee"holder..... :zroflmao:
Not all think the butt of the Ultra (Bat or Shark) is you-gly, Jesse..... ;D :huepfenjump3: :huepfenlol2: :2vrolijk_21:

I agree with the looks of the SG rear end also. I don't think the rear of the Ultra looks ugly, I just think the SG is a sharper look. Since I only ride solo, I have my detachable tour pack mounted forward. So even when riding with the tour pack, I can still show the rear fender.

And nobody likes an ugly butt!! ;D

Do you have a parts list for the 2017 tour pak and necessary hardware?
-
Check out Extreme Dimension, he can match paint more graphics on your tp.

Do you have the item number for the tour pak?

Posting the Pic really help me make a decision on ordering a King TP color Matched, Thank You. Question is hard to tell from the pic, but did you choose the black hardware for the mounting and quick release?
My bike is in, but they are installing all the accessory items and upgrading engine to the 117. Did you change exhaust?
All the best,
-Patrick

He really did a great job..
I am still waiting for my 17 CVO SG to be complete Been about a month now, the 117 should be here Mon-Tues but SE Street Cannons full exhaust wont be till mid May. So I had them put SE Slip on as a temp till others come in.
They did get my Dakota Digital gauges, Chrome Rotors, Chrome Brembo Calipers, Chrome HD Cow Bells and most of the Spectra Glo lights installed..

What seat and pillion do you have on your bike?

Just took mine off and stripped it to have painted for my 19. I bought this directly from Harley when I bought my 17. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190702/b98406a48137c79e0b64eedcd771cb8c.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190702/aab2a2987ce5f4f852b21b778af709d9.jpg)
