Had to drag wife out of dealership
« on: February 25, 2012, 12:06:06 PM »

Now,,, I have to say I own a 2011 CVO Street Glide and love it. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The wife and I stopped at a local dealership the other day and they had a New Convertible there (Flat Gold color with Brown Seat & Bags) on the showroom floor. Great looking bike!

I had to drag my wife out of there when she started asking me; "Maybe we could get this one for our normal rides and keep the Street Glide for the really long trips?"

It's great having a wife who loves bikes as much as me but she's got expensive tastes.

Oh no.........My wife has no sense of balance at all. Our friends even call her "Stumblina".

She fell a couple of years ago just walking our two chitztzuhs across the yard. Broke her left collar bone and left ankle.

I think you should purchase your wife a good pair of stable boots, pay for a good motorcycle class and then buy her the bike. :huepfenjump3:

Believe it or not but when she fell walking our little dogs she was wearing a pair of tall lace up heavy duty logger boots.

She is as clumbsy as they get. I bought a couple of bicycles a few years back so we could ride around our local park for exercise. Needless to say, after several "mishaps" I sold her bicycle.

Some people are definitely made to ride on the back.

I felt the same when I saw it on the floor. It was Naked when I saw it, No bags, pillion or Fairing, and just had to have it.
The only thing I have changed is the Flush Mount gauge/cap and the Exhaust.
I had the Bassani RR on my 2010 LoBoy in Black and really liked the way it looked and sounds.

Can't wait to get some miles on it, only able to get about 500 on it so far- here in Michigan this winter was a good one to be able to ride.
