Dealer called today said he don't think they will get Orange RG but they just got a Yellow in its mine if I want will have to see later today I just don't know

Hey, I would go take a look, but when you are spending the big $$$$$ you need to get the color you are lusting after.
You can always start calling around to other dealers..... if you are patient, you will get the color you want.

Not my cup of tea but it it a very good looking bike. They do an excellent job with gold striping. The Eagle is gold which lends itself very well with the yellow.

I've got a small deposit on a B&O SERG 400-500 miles away that won't be delivered till December probably. I have first shot at a yellow SERG at a local HD dealer. they called me this morning, and it came in...early too. As soon as they have it together enough to look at, I'm going to have a look. That should be this afternoon, or tomorrow morning. I'll let you know my decision. Like the rest say, I won't get it unless it floats my boat. Wait..I should rephrase that. I won't get it unless it floats JD's boat.

I heard the Yellow looks way better in person than the catalog pictures. It is definitely worth a look. That part is free! Either way you go, you won't be blending in! Good luck!

SERG3: Think of the bike as a piece of art. Which color do you see yourself on in the coming months, if not years. It is a subjective answer that really only you can answer. I have only seen the Silver and Yellow in person. Both are beautiful but the yellow in person is a show stopper. Everywhere I take it, people walk up and exclaim what a beautiful bike it is. The pearl in the yellow is striking. I like having the rarer (more exclusive?) color. The marketing photos don't seem to do any of the colors well, so I'm sure the O/B is beautiful. Interested to hear you thoughts after you've seen the yellow. Roll it outside!

for the amount of money you going to spend, you should not settle--- that said i just saw the yellow serg and in person the colors are unbelievable--you might just love the way it looks in person (if you can see it sunlight it's even better) good luck trying to pick between those colors

I suspect that it will be hard for you to walk away from the y/c since it will be at your fingertips. If you decide that the o/b is the bike you really desire, start making calls to dealerships until you find one. Good luck!

I went from the Silver to a Yellow. I felt the Silver was very classy but may loose feelings the longre I owned it. I own a yellow truck and inclosed trailer. Just fit better.

The dealer close to me has a yellow SERG on the floor now, they had an orange one over a month ago.
The yellow looks a lot better than the orange, especially in the sun!

it's not my cup of tea, but between the two colors, I'd have to pick yellow...

Another Yellow arrived at Granite Mtn the other day, BLW had it deposited. I had the priveledge of seeing it come off the crate and calling him to tell him it had arrived, I could hear the exitement in his voice! I hope he picks it up tomorrow, I may go down there and see it again. Plus my new tank decals finally arrived. They were supposed to install today, but it's nasty in GA today, so maybe tomorrow.

Thanks BigLew. I can't really tell about the frame yet. The RG rides so much different than the UC...I do know the bike holds a straight line and holds a curve better than any HD I've ridden before. It's just planted and stable. Felt like the rear suspension..Well--they're NOT bitubos. BUT..I haven't even checked the air in the rear shocks yet. I'll report on that later.

Four Rivers tried to mimic a river boat with their new building since Paducah is a river town.

Upstairs is a pilot wheel and a riverboat bell.

Whenever they sell a new bike, they announce it and let the buyer ring the bell.

Here is JD ringing the bell.

She told me if I even talk about another bike, she's gonna ring my bell too.

I'll wait a week or two before I tell her about the bike I plan on building to take this spare 110 I have.

I've never been much of a tour glide fan. Didn't care for the look or the weird 2 headlight fairing. But HD did a good job with this bike. Might trade the 07 cobalt SERk...God I've put a lot of money in that bike!!!!

Granite has a bell too, I rang it. I liked it too. Once I get Jennifer out of Nursing School and my SERG paid off, I think I'll ring it again. I'd like to follow in the footsteps of my elder CVO brothers and have multiple CVO's and Screamin Eagle's in my stable. When the time is right, I wouldn't mind buying back my SE Fat boy or FXDWG3! They were great riding bikes. Who knows what the future brings.

Granite has a bell too, I rang it. I liked it too. Once I get Jennifer out of Nursing School and my SERG paid off, I think I'll ring it again. I'd like to follow in the footsteps of my elder CVO brothers and have multiple CVO's and Screamin Eagle's in my stable. When the time is right, I wouldn't mind buying back my SE Fat boy or FXDWG3! They were great riding bikes. Who knows what the future brings.

Just hang with us & be patient grasshopper. Someday you'll have many CVO's.

My Dad got me hooked on CVO's for sure! When he bought the FXDWG3 and I finally saw it, my jaw dropped! I told him if he ever thought about selling it, to give me a chance. He did, so I jumped on it, a sweatheart deal. chitake mushrooms hit the fan in my life and lost my wife at the time to an ATV accident. I had a rough couple of years and was raising my daughter Mattie, at the time she was 1, but that was the only thing that kept me together was her. Anyways, sold the Switchblade back to a friend of my Pop's and gave him the money I made off of it, it was the right thing to do, he's my Dad. He hooked me up with a dealer in PA and I got the SE Fat Boy shortly thereafter, yellow and blue, not the one I wanted but they cut me a deal under MSRP. I rode that until I met Jennifer and she started riding with her a lot. I decided to go with a bagger, b/c she needed a place for her purse! You know the rest... I love the DWG3, SE Fat Boy had great paint, I liked the SEEG, but I love the SERG!!!!

Not to get to sentimental on you guys, but that's my CVO life story! I'm happy with life and love riding!

Wow. Quite a story Mike. Sorry to here about your first wife. That had to be tough.

I like this SERG so far, but, I'll be analizing it for the next few weeks/months. I expect it all to be favorable though.

I saw my first Yellow SERG on the floor at Wild West HD in Lubbock TX today. Truly a sight to see, that yellow paint will come alive in the sun. Had the 1000 mi service done. Great folks there!

I've been out piddlig around the garage with the RG this morning. Took that fugly strap off the seat. Was going to stick the Badlander seat on it just to see, but no dice. It's made differently. Checked the air pressue in the shocks 0 PSI. I guess that's not part of the agreement in the $500 set up charges.

No wonder it kept bottoming out on the way home. I started looking around for the air pump I had for the other bikes. It's gone. They all have bitubo shocks. I think I gave it to big Ed. I lan on riding today, but how will I adjust these shocks? I killed the power to the air compressor and bled the tank down to 25 PSI. One quick blast of air and there's 25 PSI in the shocks. If there's a will there's a way. I should ask for credit on the set up fees?

Let us know how you make out w/ the credit. Neither my RG or the son's RK had air either.

After all air very expensive. You would think it would be covered in the shop expense charge!!! Does that mean I will have negative pressure when I pick up my SERG, my dealer doesn't charge a setup fee???

I'd tell the dealership that they owe you a free air pump for letting the bike leave the shop without air in the shocks...you never know, if you give them a hard time they might cave and give you the pump.

I witnessed the delivery of a new yellow one yesterday at my local dealer. It was a brite sunny day the the yellow flake is almost blinding! It is really awesome.
