2004 CVO Deuce - Hydraulic Clutch Lever Replacement

Hi all,

my clutch lever is  broken on my 2004 CVO Softail Deuce.  I'm having a hard time finding a replacement lever that I know will work with the hydraulic clutch.  Most of the levers I see online say they will work on this model, but the images don't look like a hydraulic clutch lever.

The dealer wants $100 just for the replacement lever.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a replacement, and also please explain how you take off and replace the lever?

In case you are still looking, the levers for a V-Rod will work.  There are several available as a set through the aftermarket.  I used shorter reach ones on my wife's CVO Fat Boy and 04 FLHTC-SE.  Both levers were less than HD.  Good luck.  They say they are for a hydraulic clutch.

The idea for vrod levers is a good one. I found some reduced reach ones a year ago.
